A Place for Every Name
I created the first interactive pop-up Memory Garden for pet loss a colourful, welcoming place where people can write their animal’s name, add it to the garden and share the stories that made them unforgettable.
Over the years, thousands of beloved dogs, cats, horses and other companions have been added by people from all walks of life. Every name represents a story, a friendship, a family member and a bond that still matters.
The Memory Garden now lives both as a travelling installation and as a permanent virtual garden holding more than 6,000 names.
Whether your loss was yesterday or many years ago, the Memory Garden is a place where their name can continue to be remembered.
THE STORY
More Than a Memorial
The Memory Garden was created so people could do more than simply look at a memorial.
Visitors are invited to take part to write their animal’s name, place it amongst the flowers, share a memory but the best moments are having real conversations about the animals they have loved.
It is not intended to be silent or sad. It is a living, colourful place where grief is acknowledged and their lives are celebrated in that moment.
Every name has a story. Every story matters.
EVENTS & COLLABORATIONS
Bring the Memory Garden to Your Community
The Memory Garden is available for selected festivals, events, charities, pet organisations and community projects. I can attend your event and help create the full interactive experience, but I do not need to be there for the Memory Garden to become part of your space. I can provide a specially prepared Memory Garden pack containing original artwork, materials and thoughtful additions to help your team create and host its own welcoming place for remembrance. Each collaboration can be adapted to suit your event, audience and available space.Whether I join you in person or help you bring it together from afar, the purpose remains the same: to give people somewhere to write their animal’s name, share their memories and celebrate the lives that shaped them.If you would like to discuss what could work for your event or community, I would love to hear from you.
