Commissions & Custom Pet Memorial Artwork

How do I order a commission?

Custom pet memorial artwork and pet portraits can be ordered directly through my website.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email up to 72 hours after with a short questionnaire where you can upload photos of your pet and share their story with me. These details help me capture their personality and create something truly meaningful.

Each piece is drawn or painted by hand in my studio and added to my working list in the order it is received.

What photos should I send?

Clear photos always help me capture your pet accurately.

If possible, send:

• One clear front-facing photo
• Additional photos showing markings or colouring
• Images that reflect their personality

Don’t worry if your photos aren’t perfect  I can often work from several references to create the final artwork.

How long do commissions take?

Because every piece of pet memorial art is created by hand, wait times can vary depending on how many commissions are currently in progress.

You can find the current estimated wait time on the commission product page when ordering.

I always take great care with each artwork to ensure it truly honours your pet. Delays can occur but the wait will be worth it.

Can you include more than one pet in an artwork?

Yes, multiple pets can often be included depending on the piece you choose. If you have a specific idea in mind, you’re always welcome to email me before ordering to discuss it.

Little Orange Halo Club

What is the Little Orange Halo Club?

The Little Orange Halo Club is a monthly pet loss mail club created for those quietly navigating grief.

Each envelope contains:

• A heartfelt letter written by me
• An exclusive LadybugArt print
• A small surprise

It’s designed to feel like a gentle moment of comfort arriving through the letterbox.

When do Little Orange Halo Club envelopes ship?

Envelopes are prepared at the beginning of each month and sent using standard mail so they can reach members all around the world.

Because the letters and prints are prepared in advance, the club runs one month ahead.

When do I need to sign up to receive the next envelope?

To receive the next month’s mailing, you must join before the 28th of the current month.

For example:

Join before April 28th → receive May mail
Join after April 28th → your first envelope will be June

This allows time for the artwork and letters to be prepared for every member.

What if my envelope hasn’t arrived?

Because I do send the club full untracked it does mean that occasionally envelopes get lost in the post

If I get letters returned to me or the member reaches out after 4 weeks I will offer to send the letter out again once the address has been verified (check your addresses, it’s more common than you think)

I don’t charge for any additional shipping charges, it’s built into the cost of the subscription to keep costs low.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship to?

LadybugArt ships pet memorial artwork and prints worldwide, with collectors across the UK, United States, Europe and many other countries.

All orders are carefully packaged and sent using reliable postal services so they can safely reach their new homes.

How long does international shipping take?

Orders are shipped using standard international mail.

Estimated delivery times are:

UK: 2–5 working days
Europe: 5–10 working days
United States: 7–14 working days
Rest of world: 10–20 working days

Please note these are estimated delivery times, not guaranteed delivery dates. International mail can occasionally take longer depending on postal services and customs processing.

Are customs fees included?

For international orders, customs and handling fees are covered by LadybugArt so customers do not receive additional charges on delivery.

However, customs authorities may occasionally hold parcels for inspection. This process is handled entirely by the destination country and unfortunately cannot be controlled or sped up from my side.

If customs requires additional information, they will contact the recipient directly.

What if my parcel is delayed or held in customs?

International parcels may sometimes be held by customs for inspection.

During this time, the parcel is under the control of the destination country's customs authority and cannot be released or investigated until they complete their processing.

If customs requires further information, they will contact the recipient directly.

What if my order has not arrived?

Because international mail can take time to move through postal systems and customs, missing parcel investigations cannot be opened until 4 weeks after the shipping date.

If your order has not arrived after this time, please contact me and I will begin an investigation with the postal service.

What if I entered the wrong shipping address?

Please check your address carefully when placing your order.

LadybugArt cannot be held responsible for orders that are lost or delayed due to incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided at checkout.

If you notice an address error after placing an order, please contact me as soon as possible so I can attempt to update it before dispatch.

Are orders tracked?

Most international orders are sent using tracked shipping to keep shipping an easy trackable process for customers worldwide.

Tracking is not available for The Little Orange Halo Club to keep costs low for you

Refunds & Changes to Custom Artwork

Can I cancel or request a refund for a commissioned artwork?

Because each piece of pet memorial artwork is created specifically for one family and their beloved pet, commissions are considered custom artwork and cannot be cancelled or refunded once work has begun.

Creating memorial art is a deeply personal process, and I always take great care to capture the spirit and personality of the pet being honoured.

If you have concerns before ordering, you are always welcome to contact me to discuss your ideas.

Can changes be made to my artwork?

I work carefully from the photographs and details provided when creating each piece.

Small adjustments may sometimes be possible depending on the stage of the artwork, but significant changes cannot always be made once a piece has been completed.

For this reason, it’s important that the photos and details submitted in your questionnaire reflect how you would like your pet to be remembered.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

In the rare event that an artwork is damaged during shipping, please contact me as soon as possible with photographs of the packaging and artwork so I can help resolve the situation.

Why refunds are not offered on custom artwork

Each LadybugArt commission is created individually by hand and cannot be resold to another customer. Because of this, custom pieces are non-refundable once work has started.

Can I use LadybugArt artwork for commercial purposes?
